We start this week as always with Andrew's latest thoughts on the markets in the Dewing grain market report for week commencing 28th October 2019.

In this week's Farmchat Andrew and Webby are joined by Grant Pilcher, Partner at Larking Gowen, who talks about the role of the accountant in the agriculture sector. Grant explains how agriculture is a long-term business based on long-term relationships and how equity and transparency are key to a successful family business. He goes on to explore diversification in its many guises and the importance of finding the right fit, as well as the responsibilities of being a trustee. Things deteriorate over a beer (which this week is Wild Summer Pale and Hoppy Ale 4.5% from Wildcraft Brewery, which is just down the road in Buxton) as the question arises: Is Ian still the younger generation?
